Our Story

Safari Kilimanjaro.
One Family. 46 Years of Tanzania.

Safari Kilimanjaro brings together two specialist teams from the same family — mountain guides who summit Kilimanjaro and safari guides who know every corner of the Serengeti.

Why we built Safari Kilimanjaro

For decades, travellers coming to Tanzania would book their Kilimanjaro climb with one company and their safari with another. Two separate operators, two separate quotes, two separate sets of logistics. And if something went wrong between the two — a delayed descent, a missed transfer — it was nobody's problem.

Whether you're planning a honeymoon safari, a solo adventure, or a once-in-a-lifetime trip with the family — we handle both halves under one roof.

We saw this firsthand. Safari Kilimanjaro has been running both climbs and safaris from Arusha since 1978. Our mountain guides and safari guides share the same office, the same vehicles, the same standards. When a climber descends a day late because of weather, our safari team already knows. The itinerary adjusts automatically.

Safari Kilimanjaro exists to give combo travellers a single point of contact, a single price, and the peace of mind that comes from knowing both halves of your trip are handled by the same family. Ask about our combo discount — most clients save 10–15% by booking climb and safari together.
